Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we don't, and how the cookies on this site work.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
calculate-my-age.net is part of Quick Calculators (quick-calculators.com), a set of free financial and utility calculators. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to data when you use the site. The site is run by an individual based in the Netherlands (see Contact), acting as the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The short version
- You do not need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or financial details to use a calculator.
- Everything you type into a calculator is processed in your own browser. Those numbers are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
- We use Google Analytics to understand which calculators are used, and (once approved) Google AdSense to show ads that keep the site free. Both set cookies — details below.
- We do not sell your data. We have nothing to sell — we don't collect a profile of you.
What you enter into a calculator
The amounts, rates and dates you fill in are used only to compute a result on the page you're looking at. This happens client-side, in JavaScript, in your browser. We do not transmit, log or store those inputs. Close the tab and they're gone.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate, anonymised usage: which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the tools work on different devices. This helps us decide what to build and fix. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes data like your truncated IP address, device type and pages viewed. We have IP-anonymisation enabled and do not use Analytics data to identify you personally.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
To keep the calculators free, the site is set up to display ads via Google AdSense. When ads are active:
- Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
See how Google uses information from sites that use its services for the full detail. More on the cookies specifically is on our Cookie Policy.
Legal basis and your rights
Analytics and advertising cookies are set on the basis of your consent, which you give through the cookie/consent controls shown by your browser or the consent notice. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Because we don't hold an account or profile for you, most requests are handled simply by clearing your cookies; for anything else, contact us.
Data we do keep
Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp, requested URL) are recorded briefly for security and to keep the site running, and are rotated automatically. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
